STRANGER SINGS! THE PARODY MUSICAL

Poster for "Stranger Sings! The Parody Musical" featuring characters styled after a popular TV show with a blend of dramatic and comedic expressions, set against a dark, eerie backdrop with neon text.

Millennial Productions are bringing the Queensland Premiere of Stranger Sings! The Parody Musical to Brisbane’s Ron Hurley Theatre in April 2025!

Join Mike, Eleven, Lucas, Dustin, and the whole Hawkins gang as this show lovingly riffs on the first two seasons of that 80's-themed show and all its campy nostalgic glory.

Winner of 7 Broadway World Awards including Best New Musical, this show is perfect for lovers of Stranger Things, Musical Theatre and the 80’s!

About the Show

Take a trip back to Hawkins, Indiana: 1983… when times were simpler, hair was bigger, and unsupervised children were getting snatched by inter-dimensional creatures.

STRANGER SINGS! THE PARODY MUSICAL is a hilarious ‘upside down’ take on the hit series - and all its campy 1980s glory.

Join Mike, Eleven, Lucas, Dustin, and the whole Hawkins gang for a night of adventure, thrills, pubescent angst, heavy synth, poor parenting, convoluted love triangles, cheap effects, dancing monsters, and maybe, just maybe... justice for everyone’s favorite missing ginger, Barb Holland. #JusticeForBarb

Stranger Sings follows the story arc of Season 1 with some special nods to later seasons (including the most recent season!). While many jokes will be best appreciated after viewing the series, much of the show riffs off of familiar tropes and icons from the 1980s (as well as musical theatre), leaves lots to enjoy for Stranger Things fans and newbies alike!

Suitable for ages 10+ for language and suggestive content.
